THE BANTAM RIVER SURVEY

an in depth look at a small rivers ecosystem

The Bantam River is a small freestone stream that runs through the town of Litchfield CT, and Morris CT. The goal for this project is a completed survey of the river which will include continuous monitoring of PH, Dissolved Oxygen, flow, and turbidity as-well as tracking bank erosion and possibly will include a count of macro-invertebrates and pictures of fish caught or seen and a analysis of visual health as-well as a list of species that are found in the river.
